President

  • The role is defined in section 5.1 of the By-Laws and section 3.12 regarding Voting Representative to PSG&RC Club.
  • Responsible for the relationship management of Frankly Coastal Property management.
  • The President is also expected to make presentations at Masters formal gatherings to provide updates on current matters.

Vice President

  • The role is defined in section 5.2 of the By-Laws.
  • Responsible for managing the relationship with the law firm that supports the Board on a fee for services basis. Currently: Goede, Adamczyk, DeBoest and Cross.
  • Responsible for the yearly review of contracts and confirming insurance policies are in effect for contractors’ liability and employee coverage

Secretary

  • The role is defined in section 5.3 of the By-Laws
  • Basics:
    • Recording minutes of all proceedings and votes taken
    • Notice of all meetings
    • Safekeeping, and utilization of Association Seal
    • Accurate recording of all duly adopted amendments to the governing documents
    • Responsible for updating and maintenance of legal documents on the Masters Website
  • State Statute 720.3033 requires the Secretary in reporting Directors Written Certification or Certificate from approved course (Maintain Five years from election).
  • Responsible for Administrative management issues with  Frankly Coastal Property Management: record retention, meeting documents, client complaints etc.

Treasurer

  • The role is defined in section 5.4 of the By-Laws.
  • Responsible for reconciliation of bank balances, as reflected in bank records, to the Collier monthly bank account records
  • Responsible for the relationship management for Frankly Coastal Property Management.

The Board follows the Roberts Rules of Order at all its meetings.

Signing Authorities

  • Authorized Signers
    • Masters: Generally, the President and Treasurer
    • Frankly Coastal: Frank Parish
  • Policy – One signature for checks of $1,000 or less. For checks of more than $1,000 two signatures are required.
  • Banks – First Horizon and Fifth Third Bank. The banks will cash all checks, they do not check for two signatures for amounts over $1,000.
