Irrigation Adjustment at Mailboxes

At the February 18, 2021 Board meeting, the report on the Masters Mailbox Review was discussed. We noted that there is mailbox deterioration, with the largest factor coming from the sprinkler heads adjacent to the mailboxes directly spraying the mailbox posts. Masters Residents are responsible for changes in existing irrigation per our Landscaping document.

As a result, Greenscapes tested every property and identified 53 on which sprinkler head adjustments are required at an approximate cost of $68 each. These properties are:

21712, 21716, 21724, 21736, 21740, 21749, 21759, 21763, 21764, 21767, 21768, 21772, 21773, 21776, 21780, 21781*, 21784, 21785, 21789, 21795*, 21796, 21800, 21804, 21808, 21809, 21812, 21815, 21816, 21820, 21823, 21824, 21832, 21848, 21856, 21860, 21864, 21876, 21888, 21891, 21895, 21904, 21907, 21916, 21917, 21920, 21921*, 21928, 21929, 21932, 21936, 21940, 21945, 21948.

* also need another sprinkler head because of configuration at an additional cost.

We are asking the residents of the houses listed above to contact Jami McGarvey at: jmcgarvey@greenscapesfl.com  by August 1, 2021, to have their mailbox adjacent sprinkler heads adjusted.

Greenscapes will make all the necessary adjustments by September 30, 2021 and then bill residents directly those that signed up.

Please note that modifications will not be perfect as sod in places wraps around mailbox posts and there may be some overspray.
